Whether you reprocess your instruments manually, in a washer/disinfector or with a combination of both: you will always find the right product at Borer Chemie AG. In the case of products for manual reprocessing, you can choose between various cleaning agents and an aldehyde-free product which provides a combination of cleaning and disinfection.
Among our products for automatic reprocessing, you can choose those which best meet your needs in terms of material compatibility, available water quality and the degree of contamination. Formulations are available for highly alkaline, mildly alkaline and neutral cleaning processes.
pH value based on a 1 % solution in deionised water - consult the data sheet for exact details.

Pre-Treatment

Pre-treatment of medical devices with Borer deconex® FOAM ACTIVE
If infected medical devices such as surgical instruments are left to stand for an extended period between their last use and being reprocessed in the CSSD, soil can dry on the instruments and corrosion may occur. This can result in costs for repair and replacement of instruments, and reprocessing of sets of dirty instruments. Thanks to its special enzymatic formulation, deconex® FOAM ACTIVE not only prevents dried-on contamination but also protects against corrosion - for up to 72 hours. The unique TWIN system: uncompromising performance
The deconex® TWIN system represents a unique, dual cleaning concept consisting of a mildly alkaline (deconex® TWIN PH10) or neutral (deconex® TWIN BASIC) and a multienzymatic (deconex® TWIN ZYME) cleaning component, enabling the use of particularly efficient ingredients. If these were formulated in a single product, they would interfere with each other and reduce their impact. In the 2-component cleaning system, important components such as enzymes and hardnessbinding complexing agents remain separate until they are used in the washer/disinfector. As a result, the components not only achieve greater stability, but also achieve a synergistic effect beyond anything else available on the market.
