Matachana Group has a rich history with low-temperature sterilization technology, which has developed parallel with steam sterilization processes. In 1975, ethylene oxide and peracetic acid solutions were the pioneers. Later, low-temperature steam and formaldehyde (LTSF) sterilization continued this process.
2016 Matachana introduced its first hydrogen peroxide sterilizer, the 130HPO® model. In 2019, the HPO series was expanded with the compact 50HPO® model. The same year, they revolutionised LTSF technology with a new High-Speed version.
With this, Matachana completes its range of low-temperature sterilizers and consolidates its expertise and experience in this field. It is the only manufacturer that has designed and built all the existing systems.

SAFETY
The safety of patients, users and hospital staff has always been an essential requirement during the development of MATACHANA sterilization systems.
The HPO Series is a clear example.
AUTONOMY
Objective: maximize the number of cycles, reduce the handling of the sterilizing agent (hydrogen peroxide), as well as extend its useful life.
USER-FRIENDLY
We have focused our task on the implementation of a user-oriented interface, as well as a simple and intuitive backlit front panel.
EDUCATION
The cycle profile of HPO sterilizers includes a "Preparation Phase" during which the load is conditioned and a diagnosis is made to confirm its suitability for effective sterilization.
If the conditions are not correct, the device will cancel the cycle before peroxide injection, saving time and sterilizing solution.

EasyVIEW® software is designed to offer a comprehensive management of the sterilization process, allowing to obtain the process documentation of the washer-thermodisinfectors and sterilizers within the Central Supply Sterilization Department.

LTSF technology has been developed in conjunction with international independent research and scientific support, giving priority to all aspects related to safety.
